Podcast: The Fed’s Recession Obsession

Today’s podcast goes over some of the recent takes by the Federal Reserve on the state of the U.S. economy and housing. For example, if a sector of the economy is in a recession, you can’t say that sector is doing fine. This shows a lack of experience reading economic data correctly, which Fed members have been criticized for in the past.

I recently wrote an article taking piece by piece what Fed Governor Waller said about housing, which shows the disconnect they have always had with the housing sector going back decades.

Yes, I am biased on this subject because of what was going on early in 2021.
