I recently gave an interview on Animal Spirits discussing the state of the U.S. housing market. We went over:
- Why home builders aren’t building
- Institutional investors buying single-family houses
- The demographic tidal wave
- Relocation buyers
- Should buyers wait?

Also, I know have talked about existing home sales having some prints under 5,840,000 2 months ago.
I know it didn’t happen in the last existing home sales report, but I still believe this to be the case based on the demand curve on purchase application data after making 2 Covid19 adjustments. Everything roughly looks in line for 2021 for total home sales data; we will be slightly higher in 2021 than 2020 data.
Enjoy the weekend!
Also, Trader Nation, have fun but make sure you manage your gains properly. You will need to pay taxes and don’t get greedy. It’s not going to be like this all the time; manage your risk properly.
